CANDABA – Several residents here urged the barangay officials of Pansinao and Lanang to close the open dump in between the borders of the two villages.

According to the residents, the indiscriminate dumping of domestic waste is already affecting the community.

Mang Jojo added that the open dump site is easily accessible to people, especially children who are vulnerable to physical and chemical hazards posed by waste.

Aside from this, the people also expose to rodents, insects, and other vermin attracted to open dump site.

With this, the residents urged the barangay officials of Pansinao and Lanang to come up with a consolidated effort to stop the dumping of garbage in the area.
