Folks ask help from city officials

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO - Several residents from Camp Olivas subdivsion in Barangay San Nicolas this city has sought the assistance of city officials  about the year round flooding problem in the community.

According to the residents, for several years, their place has been submerged to at least three feet of flood water during dry season and continously increasing up to six feet during rainy season.

Danny Mandani, a resident here, disclosed that some have already abandoned their houses and settled in the other place because of the current condition. He added,  they felt like they were just taken forgranted by local officials.

Aside from the inconvinience, the residents are also worrying about the effect of polluted water stock in different streets of the said subdivision.

With this, they urged local officials to visit their community to personally witness their situation. They believed that if this problem will come into the knowledge of Mayor Oscar Rodriguez, their problem will be ended soon.
