SAN LUIS - The farmers here and in towns of Candaba and San Simon whose crops were affected by Typhoon Pedring and Quiel have received their claims amounting to more than P4.9-M from the Philippine Crop Insurance Corporation (PCIC) in a simple awarding rites last Friday.
The distribution of checks was led by the President of Philippine Crop Insurance (PCIC) Atty. Jovy Bernabe and Governor Lilia Pineda.
Qualified farmers from Candaba received P1,750,000 while those from San Luis and San Simon got P1,584 and P1,664 respectively.
