SAN SIMON -- An estimated of 5,000 residents of this town have benefitted from free medical services provided by the medical specialists from Manila Doctors Hospital (MDH) and Metrobank Foundation, Inc. (MFI)
The activity was designed to provide the basic health needs of the typhoon survivors. This was conducted in close coordination with the provincial government.
The medical team led by Morales, Dr. Mario Joselito Juco, MDH medical doctor and Dawn Aberilla, MDH executive assistant to the senior vice-president
Aside from the medical mission, the team also donated relief items such as blankets and shoes to the residents.
Dr. Dante Morales, MDH senior vice-president for medical affairs, turned-over to Vice-Governor Joseller “Yeng” Guiao the P500,000 check donation from the Metrobank Foundation, Inc. for the rehabilitation of typhoon-affected families in the province.
Anent to this, Governor Lilia Pineda expressed gratitude to the activity proponent and donors. She acknowledged that this assistance including the medical outreach activities would greatly benefit the affected communities.
Pineda enjoined all concerned agencies of the government including the private sector to join hands and work together for the speedy recovery and rehabilitation of typhoon-devastated areas in the province.
